From California's proposition 187 to late anti-affirmative action legislation to English single initiatives, the anti-immigrant lobby has managed to strip Asian immigrants of social benefits, access to education and work at jobss and their basic right to speak a native language. But their latest tactic paints border represss a more palatable shade of green: collections like Federation for American Immigration Reform and extreme population hinder groups like Carrying Capacity Network argue that immigrants cause overpopulation and U environmental degradation.
